Warner Power files patent on new Xenon lamp igniter technology.

Published on Monday, 29 March 2010

WARNER, New Hampshire - Warner Power has recently rolled out new igniter technology which greatly improves ignition performance with DC Xenon lamps, relative to existing technology. Without resorting to excessively high voltages, or excessive energy, which can have a detrimental effect on component life, this new circuitry sustains and develops the initial arc 'streamers' as the full current is developed. This assures optimum hot and cold 'strikes' with reliable first-time ignition, every time.

Warner Power manufactures advanced electronic 'ballasts' for mission-critical medical and other applications. These incorporate power factor correction, auto line-voltage switching and UL approvals. Warner Power recently introduced a microprocessorbased unit, with a comprehensive suite of software-controlled features and boasting very low energy losses.
