Warner Power's Hexaformer Plant in Hollis, NH is Fully Operational

Published on Monday, 07 November 2011

HOLLIS, New Hampshire - Warner Power announces that its new Hollis facility is now fully operational. This is a dedicated ‘focus factory’ with specialized equipment to build and test complete Hexaformers. Initial production will be 600V class, dry type Hexaformers from 25kVA to 1,000 kVA for specialized industrial applications, as well as high efficiency general purpose distribution transformers. These units will be available throughout US and Canada.

The Hexaformer transformer uses a unique continuously wound core construction with 120° symmetry between the phases that offers significant advantages compared to conventional chopped and stacked cores. These include:

 · Substantially energy lower losses

 · Reduced weight

 · Smaller footprint

 · Low noise level

 · Low external electromagnetic field

 · Substantially lower inrush current

 · Substantially lower harmonics

Already in service in Europe, with an installed base of over 2,500 Hexaformers in the Swedish power distribution system, Warner Power now offers these exciting products from its New Hampshire facility.  These are 100% US designed by Warner Power’s magnetics engineering specialists and 100% US-made.

Warner Power is delighted to offer this new technology - a breakthrough in transformer design that uses raw materials more effectively and reduces energy losses. In recognition of these qualities, all Warner Power Hexaformers bear the GreenStar® logo and brand.
